What is something that cheers you up when you are feeling down or unwell? It could be food, people, activities, etc.
Focus: Jesus is our wonderful Shepherd, taking care of us, His sheep, in so many different ways!
I. Read John 10:10-14. Where does Jesus say that He is the good Shepherd?
A. What aspects of Jesus’ shepherding work can you find in these verses? There are at least 3-4 aspects.
B. Based on these verses, what motivates Jesus to shepherd us and how far did Jesus go to shepherd us?
II. One of the most famous portions from the Bible is Psalm 23. Read all 6 verses from this chapter. What are the many different ways that God is shepherding His people in these verses?
III. From all of the ways Jesus is shepherding us that you have seen in John 10 and Psalm 23, which one can you relate to the most?

V. Memorize John 10:10b-11
I have come that they may have life and may have it abundantly. I am the good Shepherd; the good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
I. The Lord desires to shepherd us in our daily living in a very detailed and specific way. What is one thing you would like the Lord to shepherd you in? Share with one another and pray for each other!
II. The Lord desires to shepherd many of our friends to know the Lord through us. Share with one another a name and pray for each other!
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and may have it abundantly.
John 10:11 I am the good Shepherd; the good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
John 10:12 He who is a hireling and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.
John 10:13 He flees because he is a hireling and it does not matter to him concerning the sheep.
